Changes to the H-1B CAP Lottery Registration System

As you may have heard, there are changes to the H-1B CAP Lottery Registration System. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, “USCIS”, has implemented a new platform for petitioning companies to register for the H-1B CAP. The new online platform is built to streamline the registration process between companies and their legal representatives. USCIS has been holding webinars this week to provide more information on this new process, and we learned some important information to share with you. If you have an existing USCIS account, you will be able to access this new platform with your old account. If this is your first time with CAP registration, and you do not have an account with USCIS, the platform will be accessible upon account creation when the platform goes live in mid-February. As of right now, we do not have a lot of details, but we will be able to fill you in with more information as we receive updates from USCIS in the coming weeks.

In tandem with this update, we are hosting a client info-session next week, January 31st, at 2:00PM EST, with attorneys Shaun Foster and Janet Forney, the link to which is copied here: Meeting Registration - Zoom. They will answer questions, and explain in further detail, the H-1B CAP process. We look forward to working with you all!

Sincerely,
